“Typography” by Friedrich Friedl is an encyclopedic book about type design throughout history.
I was assigned the task of re-designing the cover for the book and decided to create two different versions. The first version focuses on the juxtaposition of the three different languages used in the book. The second version explores the idea of a timeline by exposing different typefaces from different periods.
